Two images have gone viral today on Twitter. One from 2015 and one from today, both from visits the New England Patriots have paid to the White House. The only difference in the pictures, aside from the noticeable difference in the amount of players present is the two presidents who stood among the players.

One of dozens of faces who wasn’t among the teams today was Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady. He had to miss for “family matters,” he said, and we know it’s not personal because he is a friend and supporter of Trump’s. But for other players it is personal.
Devin McCourty told Time Magazine: “Basic reason for me is I don’t feel accepted in the White House. With the president having so many strong opinions and prejudices, I believe certain people might feel accepted there while others won’t.”
Another player, Alan Branch, said he chose to skip the event because he was disturbed by Trump’s comments in the ever so famous “Access Hollywood” clip, according to the New York Times.
