Last week I posted the results from a SurveyMonkey poll found in this Cosmopolitan article. I mainly evaluated Ivanka, and how of young women, specifically ages 18-34, only 21% felt favorably about her. Which in terms of her proposed image as a strong businesswoman and mom, isn’t good.
But overall no one from Trump’s inner circle was viewed favorably by more than 39% of Americans, in fact one members approval rating was actually as low as 20% according to this survey.
My inner circle is a little different than President Trumps. To start, my inner circle is all female, because I’m in a sorority, so the people I choose to spend most of my time with are young women (look out for your rating’s Ivanka). My inner circle also consists of full-time students, not billionaires.
But I asked my inner circle of 41 how they felt about President Trump’s inner circle of 8, and this is how the results compared to that of SurveyMonkeys:
(Here is a key to depict the colors in the toolbar)
Of the 41 individuals who participated in my survey and the 5,493 who participated in SurveyMonkey’s President Donald Trump’s approval rating stayed consistent at 39%. The Americans have spoke people. However, we see far less people in my inner circle have an unfavorable view of him and that significantly more don’t know enough to say.
I know this is my “inner circle,” and therefore my friends, but I’m not quite sure how at this point in Trump’s presidency 17% of people don’t have enough information to form a favorable vs. unfavorable opinion on him. I’m going to have to side with SurveyMonkeys much safer 2% of individuals who just didn’t provide a response, and say that is a more accurate statistic for this poll.
My inner circle actually seems to like Ivanka more than Americans did, at 41.5% vs. 39%, which is interesting because being all young women really her approval rating should’ve been something much lower (something around 21%). Consistent to the rest of America, 36.6% (versus 37%) viewed her unfavorably and exactly 22% did not know enough about the first daughter to say whether they felt positively or negatively about her.
Of the first family members in this survey, Melania was the only one (in comparison to President Trump and Ivanka) that saw an increase in unfavorable rating in my personal survey of my inner circle. 33% of Americans rated her unfavorably, however, in my results 36.6% of the 41 participants viewed her negatively. This may be one of those cases where ‘any attention is good attention’ applies. Even though more people viewed her negatively, at least more people knew who she was enough to form an opinion on her, as 25% of Americans didn’t know enough to say anything in SurveyMonkey’s poll, but only 19.5% responded the same way in my poll.
Here are the rest of the results for the remaining five members of Trump’s Inner Circle:
