Earlier this week Shannon Coulter, the co-founder of the #GrabYourWallet movement, which boycotts companies that sell Trump-branded merchandise, tweeted out a screenshot of an email between her and a customer service representative from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Coulter claimed that Bed Bath & Beyond had joined stores such as Nordstrom’s, that have stopped selling Ivanka Trump’s brand under the reasoning of “sales performance.”
However, contrary to Coulter’s claim, Bed Bath and Beyond released this statement early this morning:
“We are not making our merchandising decisions based on anyone’s political beliefs. We have Ivanka Trump products in some stores and carry them where consumer demand and business performance justifies it.”
