A group of Chandler housewives took to the politically petty world of Facebook Wednesday afternoon to show support for their favorite conservative fashion designer. In the one minute video below, posted on Laurie Ray’s personal Facebook page, the group of women exclaim “No money for Nordstrom’s!” as one women explains their boycott because Nordstrom’s “caved.”
Wearing a ‘Haters Gonna Hate’ shirt with an image of President Trump, one women steps up to the counter to close her account with the department store and then exclaims, “We’re heading to Dillards!”
In the video she explained to a customer service agent on the phone, “I’ve been shopping at Nordstrom for 30 years, but because of your decision to drop Ivanka Trump, I will no longer shop at your store, nor will my husband, or our nine children, or our eight grandchildren.”
Now while I don’t necessarily agree with adults making a scene and raising hell in a public place, I mean really it’s not like the employee’s of the Nordstrom’s in Chandler, Arizona made the decision to drop Ivanka, I do appreciate the fact that someone is finally displaying some public support for the women in this family. I mean between Ivanka losing literally her entire fashion empire in a week, Tiffany being taunted on Twitter during NYFW, and Melania being constantly questioned for everything from her marriage to her role as first lady, it’s about time the Trump ladies felt something other than hate.
