Ivanka Trump has found herself in a sticky situation, similar to the one in which stepmom Melania was in last week. It’s a situation that brings about questions of these women’s sensitivity while others face the worst of times.
One of my blog posts from last week, Dripping in Diamonds, questioned why Melania would be featured on the cover of Vanity Fair Mexico twirling diamond necklaces around a fork like they were a 2 for $20 meal at Olive Garden, knowing the rising tension between Mexico and the United States?
Today, people are asking an alike question- why would President Trumps daughter Ivanka post to her Instagram wearing a $5,000 dress on Sunday evening, knowing that for the next 90 days immigrants from seven Muslim countries will be banned from entering the United States?
As millions gathered at airports and other public spaces across the nation to protest President Trump’s ban on Muslims and refugees, Ivanka shared this image of herself and husband, Jared Kushner, heading to dinner at the Alfalfa Club, according to mirror.com.

The image was captionless but luckily social media users everywhere offered their support in providing a caption for her.
One twitter user even went as far as tweeting this picture of a Syrian refugee:
and directing it towards Ivanka Trump, “She wore it better.”
